Company History
Dennis E. Vogan founded Mid-States Appraisal Services, Inc. in 1983 with the interest of providing quality and professional agribusiness appraisal services to clients across the country.
With a degree in business and economics from Marymount College of Salina, Kansas, Dennis took the opportunity as it arose for him while employed with Evco, Inc., owned by Dean Evans, owner of Evans Grain Company. With encouragement from Dean Evans and others, Dennis began with one appraisal on a grain elevator in Long Pine, Nebraska, owned by Harold Coash.
Armed with the experience of equipment sales and brokerage of grain elevators and fertilizer plants, over the next 40 years Dennis grew and developed this reputable business.
With a degree in finance from Kansas State University and several years of commercial real estate appraisal experience, Gage Bredfeldt began working with Mid-States Appraisal Service, Inc. in 2017. A relationship was formed and in 2020 Gage became a partner in the company.
In May 2023, Gage completed purchase of the business. Dennis looks forward to spending more time with family while also remaining a valuable part of the company for special projects and consultations.
With this change in ownership, Mid-States Appraisal Services, Inc. became MID-STATES APPRAISAL SERVICE, LLC.
